Hi all. I've been out and purchased some new disks, pads and sensors for all four corners of my 2015 Cayenne S. My usual mechanic was due to fit them but is unavailable for a long time. Someone else I know who is a mechanic but a less experienced has offered to do the job for me. I've accepted (he is a mechanic after all) but someone has since told me about this job being a lot more 'awkward' because of something specific with it being a Porsche and it should really be done by a Porsche specialist or it could go badly wrong and will cost LOADS of money....
Is this scare-mongering? Is it pretty much a standard job and would be straightforward to a mechanic?
I'll ask the mechanic but I'm worried he'll be too proud to admit he's a little lacking in experience.
Any advice would be welcomed...
