First off, sincere apologies to any members who attended at the Gardeners Arms on Tuesday 2nd September to find that the place had been invaded by stall holders from the International Antiques Fair at the South of England Showground opposite, and our booked Garden Room fully occupied by diners.
We had moved 2 miles north along the B2028 toward Turners Hill to call in at The White Hart Inn where we received a good welcome and space to sit and eat and talk. Speaking with Dottie the landlady we have been offered the use of the restaurant which is closed mid-week evenings to hold our meetings, and I have taken up her offer.
The next Region meeting, on Tuesday the 7th October will be at The White Hart Inn from 7.30pm, where you will see we will have much more space. All are welcome, home cooked local produce.
