The Cayman Register have a visit arranged to Center Gravity for 9th March and I am offering places on the visit to R8 members, I will be at the regional meet tonight 4th Feb so if anyone wishes to join in please have a word with me this evening or respond on the Cayman register forum pages, the visit post is pinned to the top of the forum.

Since this is a Cayman visit we do hope to have one of our cars measured for alignment and so this would also be particularly relevant to the Boxster and to some amount to the 911. But no doubt Chris can field questions arising even if they are concerning 911's without showing the differences.

The visit to CG took place yesterday as planned, although only 8 attended it was felt to be a good and informative event, I'd certainly recommend it both for a visit and for those attending we felt there is only one place to go for such work having seen what is done and the fact that they seem to go that bit further in their efforts to equalise the geometry of the cars, not being content to just set everything to the factory tolerances or merely close. It was particularly interesting in the way they ask the questions for how you like the car to handle for lots of different types of driving and the set up that Chris set's his wife Jayne's Boxster to for summer or winter tyres and for road or his own use on track was particularly interesting. Something of a luxury, just being able to do a tweak and change things to suit the day.[:D]
