Hi guys a few days ago coming back from work In my 2006 cs 50,000miles on the clock and was finding it difficult to go into 1st gear and when once finally in when shifting to 2nd the return on the clutch was not following my foot it was delayed which I found odd but as I got threw the gears it gradually improved however once starting of again from a set of lights the same problem but worse even more stiffer on the gear change and slow return on the clutch, even reverse had locked me out all together no matter how much I tried to put it in it just wasn't having it.
I first thought it was probably more to do with the gear box than the clutch, but hey am no mechanic!
Sent it to Porsche they've said it's the clutch which I was suprised as I was thinking more a gear box problem but they say its fine,
once they stripped it down
They've also told me the fly wheel needs doing, got it from Nottingham 6 months ago and and done 6,000 miles in that time should a clutch on a cayman be on its way out at 50,000. Obviously depends how you drive it but I've never burnt 1 out in any of my previously cars over the years!
Any one else had this problem or similar
