Cayman S vs 996

Hi All,
I'm in a quandry. Love the looks of the Cayman, have had a drive in a Tip S and loved it But I am having difficulty justifying the price hike over a Boxster S... (I have an 03 version run from new) as a reasonable spec is pushing £50k. So I'm looking at 996s.
What made you choose Cayman over 996?
