I called up Chsiwick to book my car in for an oil and filter change as it's just been run in. They asked for the registration number and checked if the car was subject to any recalls. Luckily it wasn't.
However, it goes to show that if anyone is worried about a recall you can just call up your OPC, give them your reg number and they'll check immediately if a recall is required for anything. I think it's much better to be proactive than waiting for Porsche Cars to send you a letter about a recall.
