Cayman parking sensor

Hi
I washed the car today and one of my rear parking sensors (1st to the right of the number plate) popped into the bumber.
Has anyone any experience on how to gain access.
Not sure if I need to remove bumper ?. Can you lift carpet and get access through the rear storage area ?. Is access through the area above the exhaust ?.
Any assistance would help.

Stephen, since the sensors are in the plastic bumper case access will be from below, I'm not sure how good the access is since the exhaust and it's heat shielding are in this vicinity
 
Hi Kevan Thanks for that I'll get get car raised up & remove heat shields where I can If I can get enough "hand" room I can get in and push back in (Just had a good thought- my wife has smaller hands than me) Cheers, thanks for the info. Steve
 
I think you'll be lucky if you can get a hand in there. The workshop manual says you have to remove the rear bumper (apron). If you need instructions, drop me an email.
 
Hi Richard Cheers for that. I am going to try and drop down the exhaust heat covers slightly and have a look to see what room there is. If that fails i will give you a shout for details on removing the bumper. many thanks steve (Your motor looks good- i love that colour)
 
Hi Richard I've looked today at parking sensor situation. I can only just get my hand up to slot it in and then it pops back out. I think to do the job properly I am going to remove the bumper so therefore would appreciate your offer of details on how to remove, if it's not too much trouble Many thanks Steve
 
Hi Richard Cancel that last message ! I was off work today so decided to attempt myself. Everything was pretty self explanatory. I took off the lights and the spolier and released all screws/bolts required. I found i didnt need to take the bumper fully off, once there was enough room to work with that was fine. The sensors are attached to a piece of foam/rubber that i presume was sticky when new and had lost its adhesion. I put a dab of glue on the rubber and problem solved.
