The 718 E will go ahead, this was confirmed now with the presentation of Audi's Concept C in Milan. The 718E will share the shortened PPE platform with Cayman coupe and 718 E Boxster with soft top.
At 1700 kg, Audi's Concept C is a bit heavier than the planned 718 E with Northvolt battery. Now Northvolt is no longer a viable battery technology, we'll have to live with around 1700 kg for EV Caysters using the same platform.
