Cayman Clubsport?

Just read this in Specialist Cars of Malton's monthly news letter:

Cayman Clubsport
Porsche is strongly rumoured to be on the verge of announcing a stripped out Cayman Clubsport model losing up to 100kg of weight lowering the 0-62 time from its already quick 4.9 seconds. Road and race versions are expected, the latter being equipped with sports seats, harnesses, a rollcage and fire extinguisher system. Prices are expected to be around £4000 over the cost of a Cayman S.

Anybody able to confirm or deny the rumour or have they just made it up to raise expectations?

Well, I think this could be fantastic --- but I do wonder if they could lose more than 100Kg's ? I wonder how strong this new DDI engine might be ?
 
Depends if it's another cynical rebadge or a real Clubsport i.e M003 option on the 64/93RS and not just a bit of side script (3.2,968 and GT3)... 100kg does NOT sound like it .... wait to be pleasantly surprised ........ somehow I fear it will be a rebadge.
