cayenne Remap

The Cayenne Diesel S seems to tick all the boxes and receives a strong following. But, it is expensive, what about the Diesel Cayenne equipped with a remap ....... Does anyone have any experience of such a beast, and what sort of power / performance gains could be expected.

Most of the diesels are still under 3 year warranty, so most owners are wary of fitting non standard parts that will invalidate it. I've not come across anyone with it fitted but have seen DMS advertise an upgrade from 250bhp to 292bhp and more importantly 406 lb/ft to 498 lb ft torque. Not quite S territory but a lot cheaper as you say.

I have heard that it is not possible to map a car with various modes (sport, Comfort etc) without effectively disabling this function and leaving you with only one map.

So apparently, if you have a map done you then only have one map on the car, not the various maps for each mode selected. Is this correct?
