Caversham Coachworks Recommendation?

About to take the motor to Caversham Coachworks in Slough Sat morning for a once over and estimate - glass out respray and the usual small corrosion areas sorted. I picked their name up from the forum somewhere but really asking if anyone has used them before and can recommend.

Also pondering over Daytona Coachworx who are on my list and I know have Andrews red C2 they are working on. Trouble is unlikely to get the motor back until mid June when talking to them..

Have you looked at Specialised Paintwork in Reading?

They did some work on my old 944S2 many years ago and some on here rate them very highly. I'm considering them for some remedial work on my car.

Not heard of Caversham Coachworks though...

Plus 1 for Specialised Paintwork. Great service, great quality and on one occasion they managed to get a subcontractor to roll out some damage for £80 that I was thinking was going to cost hundreds, so ethical too from my experience.

I've just had an interesting quote for sorting out all my rust issues from Pete Bartley at Langley Autocraft. I know they do an awful lot of Porsches, they did a complete makeover of my mates 3.2.

There was another guy getting a quote for some work on his 993 & he heartily recommended him to me. They were referred to me by JZ Machtech.

Anyone else used them and what did you think? I'd be interested to hear your experiences.

They actually do some menu priced repairs e.g. windscreen scuttle repairs from £332, repaint bumper £321 and check strap repair from £450 (all + VAT)

I can personally recommend Premier Panel Skills in Farnham, Surrey.

They repaired my Boxster last year after my neighbours heavy fence and post fell on the near side door during a storm.

Fantastic repair, colour matched to perfection and the car returned to me with a full valet too.

Not the cheapest of bodyshops for private, non-insurance work, but definitely worth getting an estimate from them and then having a chat with them on price. They take great pride in ensuring the work is completed to the highest standards and I don't know of anyone who's not been happy with their work.
