Cat bypass

Hey all I am havin a new clutch fitted to my car soon and have decided to fit a cat by pass tube as well has any one done this to their car and if so what improvement did it show? also I have ordered a lamda sensor by pass for the loom allthough I hope to reuse the existing from the cat has any one else used the loom bypass method?
