Hi guys

Is anyone going to this show end of september on the sunday?

Combines 911 & Porsche World, Classic Porsche, Ultra VW,
Auto Italia and Japanese Performance Mags.

Only £7 in which is good value.

Thought I may have a drive down from the Wirral.

If any of the 44 boys are there I thought I would say hi

From the Wirral for a car show now THAT is dedication. I dont know if you know Windsor at all but the area around the race course I.E Windsor Great Park and also by the river is a superb part of the country. Although it sa very busy place , even a confirmed country boy like myself enjoys his once yearly visit there ( for a dog show).

out of interest since your from my neck of the woods, who do/did you use to look after the porsche??

for basic stuff, ie normal consumeables/oil changes etc i'm using my local mechanic, but i wonder who close by to use for belt changes etc, or do you think a good mechanic in general will be ok to change belts/pumps etc???

Hi Al

Nice to hear from someone local to me. I am based in Moreton if your ever passingand fancy a brew.

I use Tech 9 in Liverpool for most of my mechanical stuff. Although they mainly do fancy Tech Art conversions
and servicing of high end porkers, Chris one of their mechanics their has an S2 and did his Porsche training on 944,s
so is clued up on them. To be fair as is Phil the owner as he used to race 944 Turbo's back in the day.
Give them a try and say I sent you. They are a very honist bunch.

I have heard reasonable reports re Andrew D Kirk Engineering in Birkenhead too. They do Porsche, Mercedes and BMW.

There is also Unit 11 in Warrington who are a great bunch of guys. I have been to see them on a few occasion.

Hi Al

I have had to cancel going to the Cars at The Course as I have to drive to Glasgow sunday evening for work and do not fancy London to Glasgow sunday afternoon.

There is a Porsche Show at Arley Hall between junction 10 of the M56 and the M6, be some good contacts going there,
on the sunday 26th Sept. I am going to pop along there for a few hours before heading North.

I know Tech ( are going along with their mechanics and some nice cars, let me know if your going to pop along.

this sun is out for me as the day is taken up with the little un and the wife, would of been great for the porker to get its first 'outing' and good run, and to meet some of you guys!!
