Has anyone oredered this?

Is it track or road optimised - or a reasonable compromise? (I have the 30mm lowered on my 996 which i like, but my wife finds uncomfortable.)

Have there been any tests with this set up rather than the standard?

I have to say you are a braver man than I, 30mm lowered suspension eh, that is one VERY firm set up for the road, although fantastic on track. I agree the standard 996 set up is a little "floaty" & rolls & understeers too much in extreme, but the 10mm lowered set up does it for me, virtually zero roll & pitch & much more contact between tyre & road on a bumpy B road than the 30mm set up, also the ride quality isn't that much worse than standard.
I think the PASM set up sounds great on the 997 a 10mm drop & the ability to firm things further when the mood takes you.

are they offering sports suspension without active?

Apparently they are according to my Price List its Option P17 Sports Suspension Package (20mm Lower) with mechanical rear
differential lock to you "Sir" £1030.00 [;)]

Yup daro is right, the 997S comes with PASM (which includes a 10mm drop) as standard, but you can have the 20mm lowered "sports"suspension with the trick rear diff. as a no cost option, but this doesn't feature PASM !!!
