If anyone is interested, Colchester Institute are doing this course in car restoration:-

I doubt it will be particularly heavyweight, but will be useful for those starting or thinking about starting on bodywork repairs. I've signed up along with a friend of mine, and a few from the Mustang Owners Club (where I saw the course details) have signed up too. The course starts in a couple of weeks and runs every Thursday evening, it's about £400. The course content will cover stuff like the following (stolen from the MOC forum):-
Hand Metal Working Skills
Marking out, Measuring, Cutting, Bending and Shaping of Sheet Steel
Construction of Body Sections and Components
Repair Techniques to Localised Corrosion
Non Structural Panel Removal and Re-fitting
Traditional Lead Loading
Dent Removal
Basic MIG and Oxy Acetylene Welding Skills
When I signed up last weekend they still had plenty of spaces left.
