Car limits

Just wondering how many would be interested in going to North Weald (Essex) on July 19th? See here

A friend went today and said it was good cheap fun.

There are 2 circuits, a slalom and a figure of 8 and no where to hit anything. (Great for a novice like me.) Its run by nice guys. It will allow you to spin your car and help you learn what the limits are.

I did a day there years ago - Andy Walsh is a very good tutor (and driver!)

I did a day there in my Honda S2000 last year - photo shows son driving with big grin, daddy (me) looking worried.
it was great fun and I am certainly up to do a day in the 944.
Re stone chips - this is only (possibly) a problem when you are queuing up to set off round the course; the instructors tell you to leave a gap behind the car that is about to start off, and there is only one car on the course (round the cones) at any one time.
Our day was very well run and there was lots of time for hooning around. It's good to know what your car does when it loses grip. Superb 2nd/3rd gear fun!
