Konstantin,

No problems at all as long as it's a 4-wheel dyno with sufficient cooling at the REAR of the car. Many dynos, particularly 4-wheel versions, are set up for the rice burners with front engines so are not geared up to handle the air flow at the rear.

Don't be tempted to use a 2-wheel dyno - they'll say "Just remove the front drive shaft" - and then you won't be able to move the car off the lift!!! Been there, done that!!!

It seems that the well-known DD dyno at Weltmeister, SIlverstone is no longer there but the old G-Force set up in Aylesbury is still there albeit now under another company name. Just make sure the operators are "Porsche-aware".

Regards

Dave

Hi Dave, thanks for your advise, so I need to make sure of a good ventilation at the engine I will speak to them before going there I think they had 911 in the past,it is a company called Emerald near Norwich.www.emeraldm3d.com .I may see you on sunday if my service is finished they trying to fixe a invisible leak on the aircon systeme that is costing me a fortune by the way.

The well known dyno at Weltmiester at Silverstone is still there and up and running. The business was bought out but one of the chaps who was a partner in the previous business bought into the dyno and still runs it. They know their stuff and have all the extra cooling you need for rear engined cars.

I think it is not based in Silverstone anymore,i think i read somewhere it has been moved to Wellingborough Northants..hope we can still use it for our dyno days (over the road in 944 land)
