Whilst i had the glove box out I found mine had given up the ghost. As a temporary measure i secured it with a cable tie but when i tried the heater it never moved.

I have since disconnected it and tried the heater again but that linkage does not move, what control operates it and what should it do ?

Sorry to hear this, does this mean you have no heat at all?

There is an extensive guide to the HVAC system on www.clarks-garage.com specifically here:

I also have the same problem now but for some reason my control changes the fan speed but nothing else I used to be able to use the defrost and recirculate button but now these do nothing.
Would this be fuse or control panel?

Hi Scott

I had a similar problem where the linkage wouldn't move. It turned out that the electric motor was seized. I took it out and cleaned it up inside and then it was ok. Once out its just a few screws to take off the cover for the gearing and then three tabs to bend to get the cover off the motor. I took plenty of pictures to make sure i got it back together correctly.
