Oh bloody hell...broken down as I type awaiting the aa...the revs just dropped and now she won't even start..she went into what reminds me of limp mode...revs just won't go up...ill wait forty mins to be told ill have to wait another couple of hours for a tow lorry..great Saturday night ..ho hum..

If its any consolation i had to phone the rac out at half three this morning after finishing djing to find out the battery had gone flat in the 944 . a local contractor (who had been in bed asleep until this point) was called out and after a jump start all was good . after he'd gone i realised what had caused the battery to drain - a short in the wiring in the fuse box for the driving lamps had meant they'd stayed on after i'd parked up 5 hours earlier . still , had an excuse to go for a run in the early hours to recharge the battery .

Try fiddling with the sensor wire connectors on the back of the engine, and bad luck for a Saturday night.[:-]
