Bridgestone - N0 or N1?

It seems as though the availability issue is over as I do not seem to have any problems getting the right Bridgestones for my C2S. In fact I have been asked whether I want N0 or N1 tyres.

I am feeling a bit stumped - from previous posts it seems as though there are some significant differences between the two. I like the idea of good rim protection and the overall favourable opinion of the tyre here in the forum but would be grateful for either a link where I might be able to see the technical differences or, of course, your opinions and experiences.

I thought I might have the same issue when replacing mine, luckily thy only had N0- so my choice was made...

I haven't seen the specific information difference, so I'll have a read up on them both..
As far as the N0 goes- I'm very happy with the tyre and sidewall protection [:)]

As a general summary of things, Bridgestones are a more performance orientated tyre than some of the others in the range. Compared to Michelins they have very hard sidewalls which resist flexing much more. This helps the steering and stability by keeping it as direct as possible. However a side effect of this is in my experience, is that you have increased feedback noise from the road.

The Michelins are a softer compound and will reduce road noise in comparison. It all depends on what you use the car for and what characteristics you desire. The other popular tyre options are Pirelli and Continental which seem to be more of a midrange blend. All these come in N ratings which conform with Porsche standards.
