Bridge spoiler help!

Hi guys, finally got the bits I need to rebuild my bridge spoiler after losing a hockey stick on the motorway…need some help please.
To start, should I just be glueing the rubber gasket to the hockey stick before fixing to the hatch? Secondly, I’m struggling to get the existing screws undone, they’re round rather than hexagonal…any tips please?
3rd, how to attach the lower spoiler that sits under the bridge spoiler? I’ve got a new gasket and that does have a sticky side, but then do I just glue it all to the 8 bits of square metal that are attached to the hatch?

Don't know about the spoiler itself, but a friend in R19 had loose hockey sticks and successfully re attached them using U-Pol Tiger Seal. Mine were loose too, so I thought I'd try it. They've been on a couple of years now.

It's a polyurethane adhesive containing isocyanates (related to superglue?) and it's waterproof too. Sticks like sXXt to a blanket so mask up thoroughly.

Doubtless someone on here will have done it properly...best option if you can make sense of it!
 
Thanks graham…I lost the other side about 6 years ago but the eBay replacement I got then already had the gasket attached so was a bit easier …this one I’ve got for the other side didn’t so I picked up the gasket from Porsche Leeds on Saturday. I remember using tiger seal the first time, great stuff and very messy like you say…got a tube arriving this week, I shall wear gloves this time!
 
You should not glue the rubber parts to the sticks as it all needs to move about with temp change
the round nuts are slotted so you need a flat screwdriver with the middle of the blade Dremeled out
the lower spoiler fixes with 4 torx bolts using shims to get it correct on the glass
the rubber seal on the lower spoiler is stuck to the spoiler with double sided tape and is a real pain to get on straight
 
Some great advice there, many thanks…. Not going to be as straight forward as I hoped by the sounds of it.
 
OMG that’s the first photo I’ve ever successfully uploaded here after 15 years! And it was very easy! Something must have changed.
 
Just been for another look…I see what you mean about the torx bolts. So it looks like the whole lower spoiler has come away from the metal brackets (4 brackets with 2 bits of square metal on each). Luckily I’ve managed to loosen all 4 torx bolts so do you think it’s best if I remove the brackets and fix then back onto the spoiler and then refix back using the torx bolts…or is that pointless and I may as well directly fix the spoiler to the 8 bits of square metal without removing them from the hatch?

Some decent progress, got the hockey stick screw’s off , can see how the gasket and hockey stick fix back on, but gonna wait until the tiger seal arrives and go belt and braces, reinforcing everything that can’t be seen…
