OK, this project has been on hold. Have been waiting for a couple of calipers from Scotland. Got them today, so i am going to start work with them at the same time.

Here's the starting point, quite sad looking at the moment but hopefully after total restoration i can return them to the Highlands as good as they were when Luigi made them in Bergamo, Italy [;)]

I usually get them from where i am able to get the best price. In most cases there is no need to change the guides.

Sorry, what I meant was: can you give me a rough idea of how much youd charge to refurbish a Brembo caliper, from one thats not bad to one thats badly worn?

Here you see what happens when my native language is not English [:(] [:D] I can several languages badly, hope you guys understand some Finnish.

Price is flexible, depending on what condition calipers are. Usually it is between 50-100€/caliper. Including work & powder coating. Rebuilding is quite time consuming, when you make calipers to look like as new, so that's why price is quite high. I am not interesting to just "fix" calipers mechanically. When you get your hands dirty, why don't make restoration properly.

For 100€ per caliper, do you also replace all piston seals and pistons?

Thomas,
don't know about the parts price level in France, but here in Finland pistons & new seals are over 100€/caliper... As i wrote work & powder coating are including to the price.
