About to buy new pads and sensors shims etc for the 987 2.7 have been on to the local opc and offered a 10 % discount Also have been on to Euro parts but they are dearer and not official Porsche parts as the car is still under warranty have to stick with Porsche bits Any companies out there you can recommend for official parts

Just make sure they are in Porsche boxes if you want to be sure, otherwise you could get Textar ones - although these are supposedly one and the same anything without the Porsche logo on will invalidate any extended warranty you have.
 
Managed to get a great deal direct from a Porsche OPC .Tried Marque 21 they do not do parts for 987 yet strangely enough So will keep to official Porsche parts and to be honest they where cheaper than after market .Now find out I need rear disc as they are corroded fronts are fine The car is almost 3 years old 22k miles on the clock and the disc need replaced all this from a prestige make it is a joke .I have a Skoda Octavia 1.9 diesel 7 years old with 80K miles and it has had 1 set of pads in its life
 
If you buy the packs from Design 911, the items are usually 'Porsche OEM - East London OPC' when they arrive.
 
Design 911 for original Porsche parts where £85 dearer than I got them for .If I used after market parts they where slightly cheaper but not much . I have a MB CLK 230 and it needs new front discs and pads and sensors quoted official parts inc£143 the same Porsche items are £347 Where can Porsche justify the difference.
 
Porsche can't justify it - they do it because they can. Out of interest, can anyone confirm if the 987 2.7 has anti-rattle shims or not? The 986 2.7 didn't but just wondered about the 987.
 
I have used the guys at Design 911 in the past for pads and way cheaper than OPC They supplied me with all OEM Porsche parts. Even had them re-furb my Sport Alloys Fantastic job £85 a wheel and they were 100% as new. [link=http://www.design911.co.uk/]http://www.design911.co.uk/[/link]
 
As I said in my post I bought the parts far cheaper than design 911 quoted that is the retail price for the parts not what I paid but agree they are cheaper than a OPC if they charge full retail.always pays to shop around
