Brake Hose Replacement

So with the refurbished calipers on the way back, I thought I may as well upgrade the brake hoses, I have had Goodridge fitted to the M3 but have seen and quite like the look of the HEL hoses.

Anyone have any opinions or got any other makes fitted?

I had the HEL ones on my 2.7. Very nice finish and fit but I can't comment on the performance change as I refurbished calipers and changed disks and pads at the same time. Got Goodridge ones on the Turbo as it came with them ;)

Used HEL hoses on my motorbike front and rear and they look great last well and are easy to fit came with all the banjo fittings to convert to a split system on the bike so I would give them a try for the car.

Well the HEL brake lines supplied do not fit [] the unions are too small, and that is after checking with them via the phone that they would it my 87 car.

82-89 8v NA and 87&88 16v S all use the same aftermarket hoses. My guess is that youve fooled them by describing your car too well.

I really struggled buying braided hoses for my 2.7l because everyone uses rubbish American fitment lists and they didnt have a 1989 NA 8V of any sort...

I bought them off the K300 fellow in the end, because he knows the cars and was happy to accept that I was right, unlike other vendors who 'knew more' and sent Turbo/S2 hoses.

Don't you just love that when they make a cock up ...had the same with Eurocarparts , ordered a dist cap and rotor arm for my S and they sent the 8v ones along with the wrong alternator belt as well !!
