Some advice please: My 986S/MY03 indicator control has stopped working properly. If I indicate left it tends to stick "on". If I indicate right I have to hold it in place otherwise it tends to cancel before I turn. It's like the mechanism inside is pulling left too much - or maybe the "pull-right" spring (is that how it works?) has come detached or broken.
So - is it an easy job to take the steering column cover off and fix it, or should I leave it to the experts? If it were a cheap old car I'd take it apart and see what happens, but I've got a mental picture of removing a tiny screw and the whole car falling apart like something out of a cartoon!
