Boxster 986 Replacement Hood

Scotbox

New member
A garage has damaged my plastic rear window on my 986 Boxster and have said that they will replace it.
I also thought about changing the hood to the newer version with the glass window.
Does anyone know of where I can obtain either of these solutions locally or know of anyone who has done either before and any indication of cost?
Many thanks in advance.

Graham

There is a "sticky" thread pinned to the top of the Boxster Register section which has several pages of feedback from users who have had this done.
I'm not sure if any places near you are mentioned, but should be a help in your decision anyway.

Check the Boxster forum Top sticky post gives you companies that do this .Do not know any ones local ie West /East Coast

He did a great job on the roof of my Boxster. He does the work for the Porsche centres in the Edinburgh area as well as for private individuals. I got a new top with tha glass rear window in place of the crappy plastic of the early cars and it's been a great buy!

Cheers.

Graeme.
