Boxster 981 Windscreen Washer Jet Aim Onto Windscreen - Adjustment

Hi, on my Boxster 981, when I operate the windscreen washer jet, the driver's side jet goes right over the windscreen. The jet is made of black plastic, not the usual black plastic surround and metal central jet, which you can adjust with a large needle. There does not seem to be a way of adjusting this plastic jet. Can anyone please advise how these jets are adjusted?
Many Thanks

Is the small nozzle fixed as well as the ‘wart’ ?

On previous cars I used a needle inserted into the nozzle to redirect the direction of the spray.

You can’t adjust the nozzles on the 981/982 platform. You can replace them with a VW part. There’s a YouTube video that shows you how to do it.

Hi Neil,

As Dan says, the nozzles aren’t adjustable, but before sourcing a replacement it would be worth removing it, blowing it out and reseating it to see if that fixes the problem.🤔

Probably there’s a cheaper VW Golf/VAG part that will fit if you can be bothered seeking one out at a local dealer.
