Booking now closed for Clear Away the Cobwebs 7th April 2024

For all you super eager Cobweb clearers, everyone registered should receive an email today, make sure you read it thoroughly, as it contains not just your joining information but also your route directions. Please check it over and print out your route (AS NONE WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THE DAY) from the relevant information. If for any reason you haven’t received it, by close of play today, please double check your spam filters just in case it’s been redirected to there.

To clarify, we will be meeting at the agreed start point from 9.00am and aiming to leave by 10.00am at the latest to ensure we all arrive at the venue for around 12.00.

Fingers crossed the weather plays ball, but as both locations start and finish have an abundance of indoor warm and dry areas, no need to worry. What will be will be.
Hi Greg,
I didn't receive any email as yet, I'm guessing you have sent them all out by now. I had only signed up for the breakfast and drive.
If for some reason you didn't receive my form for some reason, then so be it no worries. However it would be good to know if you did or didn't receive it?
I also sent you a DM on subject earlier, not sure if you saw that.
Cheers
Steve

Steve I can’t make it now due to a car issue so my spot is available if you want it?

Thanks

Hi Steve
I’ve now sent your email twice. Greg replied to your DM. If you’ve already checked your spam folder & you still haven’t got the info, I’ll try sending it from a different email account.
Deb

Hi Steve, I replied straight away to your pm yesterday and have resent all the info twice to the email you gave us. Please double check your spam filter. I can confirm you have a spot and are booked as requested.
If you still can’t find the email drop me a line and I’ll try sending it through another email address.

Regards Greg

Hi Greg and Deb,
Thanks for checking, the problem must be my email client as I haven't received anything from your two sendings.
I've sent a new email address by DM to you Greg, and I will also change this account to the same email.
Thanks again for helping me.
Steve

Morning Steve, info resent please could you check and confirm. It may be worth checking you haven’t blocked all senders with a btinternet.com address I've managed to do that myself before somehow.

Hopefully you get it this time.
Regards
Greg.

Weather looking fabulous for tomorrow - great work from G&D booking it again this year 😇

For those heading over to Belsay from Newcastle area - Me, Ben and Steve are meeting at the Shell Garage at Crofter’s Lodge Services off Kenton roundabout at 08:30. If anyone else wishes to meet us there then you’re more than welcome, no need to post up here just turn up.

WOW! What an amazing day - great route, great destinations and lots of smiling faces.

Many (many) thanks to Greg & Deb for the logistics of the day and a special mention to chief Hi-Viz wearer Dave for his marshalling skills and terrible banter.

Judging by all the comments, I’m thrilled it seems everyone had a great time at Ad Gefrin this weekend, however it seems unfortunately a couple of attendees may have had a slightly better time than others due to the fact that a couple of members have mistakenly forgotten to pay for their lunch or tour.

Despite Deb & I taking pre-orders it seems one or two of you may have rather handily forgot your obligations, especially regarding anyone who didn’t bring their pre-booked +1’s. Consequently, the venue is now chasing me for the balance. I won’t be chasing you for this but would anticipate if you simply forgot then please do the right thing and get in touch.

You may ask, why didn’t we take payment up front? Well, since Deb & I were once asked directly by a member exactly what we got out of organising events of this nature, we prefer, if possible, for you to pay directly to the venue so members can see exactly where their money is going and what you’re paying for when you book.
