Blue Pin Stripe Drivers Seat Anyone?

Hi,

Has anyone got a Blue Pinstripe Drivers Side seat for Sale?

I have just had a quote to repair mine - doesn't seem worth it if I could get a replacement.

Cheers,

Ed

Your only real hope will be German eBay. I wouldnt ever sell a good drivers seat on its own, because it leaves the relatively worthless rear and passenger seats, which no one will want (unless you paid about £400 for it of course... [;)]).

Because its the passenger seat on LHD cars I think that youll have more luck, but blue pinstripe wasnt a common colour and it wasnt available for long either.

A metre of material will cost about £80 plus carriage and trimmers costs - this will be your best bet; Shirely? [:D]

I currently have two sets in the workshop one of which is on ebay - have a look and see if this helps you

cheers

Your set has a worn out drivers seat. Why would he buy a set in which the one seat that he wants is knackered, when he could buy new material and have his professsionally re-covered for less than the £225 that youre asking?

If yoor base is good, then a passenger seat back can be swapped over. Its a PITA, but possible to do.

Simon

as i stated i have another set and this has a good drivers seat. The ebay ad reference was to make sure that i had the correct pattern available.

please whatever your problem is with me give me a call and we can talk about it rather than you posting and trying to have a pop at me every time i reply to somebodies post. (reference recent reply of yours regarding an engine change question)

regards
