Phil, I have emailed a guy who contacted me at the weekend. He is based in Holland and is after a blue or black Lightweight. Hopefully he will contact you.

Cheers

Phil - i am looking for a 964RS - sold my 993TT Sspec X50 this summer to buy a black italian stallion - wonderful but huge mistake: should have never sold my porsche. Huge regrets, but time to move on.

4months and 8kmiles later in the Modena, i sold it...and ready for a new Porsche.

it's either 997GT3 or 964RS - i know totally different beast...but i'm in love with old cars.

Would it be possible to get more details, pictures, maintenance log? pierrelinh.raoul@yahoo.co.uk
Also where are you based - i could easily drop by if you are around London/Bournemouth.

note: my idea is not to make is a garage queen: it will be driven cross europe (4-6kmiles per year) and plan on a couple track days (4-8 per year) so reliability is what i'm looking for

Cheers

ORIGINAL: 911Thrasher

and plan on a couple track days -what he's told the missus....

(4-8 per year) -what he intends to do.....[;)]

Cheers

Good hunting!! Keep us posted.......[:)]

Have you driven 997gt3/rs? they are fast for sure, but sooooooo boring. they do everything for you! there is little reward as a result.

i have seen this car and would love it....its scary the care and attention its had!!

good luck with sale phil

thanks darragh,......are these the hardest car to part with,,,i have been looking at everything to replace it with, not saying they are the best car in the world.....but they do the job very well, even though i use mine more on road than track

maybe a clubbie next if i do sell..........monkey bum[]

Darragh .... not driven a 997GTR/RS I am sure it does everything for you and more, my MK1 GT3 more basic was a fabulous car, BUT you have hit the nail on the head, they are chalk and cheese ... the 64RS is everything a real 911 driver wants WITH total involvement .... it is SO wrong to compare the modern post 98 offerings from Porsche with the earlier air-cooled 911, like comparing I suppose a modern Air Bus A300 with a Jetstream ....
