Bit of help pls - CD's stuck in changer

I replaced by Becker factory system with a Sony double din, once it was all fitted and tested I went to remove my CD cassette from my changer in the front and nothing, it's like it's lost the power to eject! Any ideas how I can get them out. The prospect of re-installing my becker just to eject these CDs is doing nothing for me!!!

It needs power to eject, I don't think there is a mechanical workaround. I assume the autochanger was powered from the original unit? A temporary 12v feed to the changer should allow the eject button to work.

i think the becker cd changer needs to be conected to the becker head unit to power it up so you can remove the discs.hope this helps

Sorry could not resist - which CD is it?

"Stuck In The Middle" by Stealers Wheel

Sorry no help I know but others Im sure will help or post another CD Title[;)]

Thanks for all the replies guys - enjoyed the song titles too!

Being an idiot when it comes to anything electrical - how do I go about putting a temporary 12v feed to the changer???

Wiring diagram can be found here:
http://www.cannell.co.uk/996_Workshop_Manuals/996%20Wiring%201999-2000.pdf
See sheet 17 of pdf document for M692 multichanger. I am not going to advise which pins of the plug to put 12v onto. Maybe someone else will take responsibility for that?

Following info provided without the usual caveats: I take no responsibility whatsoever!
From another Becker info sheet I found. Green plug that was connected to main unit pins 8 ignition, 9 ground. These would be pins 8 and 9 at the CD unit connector as can been seen on the wiring diagram.
Good luck.
