Bilstein v Koni... decisions decisions

I'm going to be upgrading the front and rear suspension soon on my 1983 928S. Inviting views from owners who know more than me about what a good shock absorber set up looks like. Apparently the konis are more period correct for my model but I know people rate the Bilstein Sport B6. How firm are they though? I like a bit of comfort in my GT, I'm not someone who does track days. I like road trips through North Yorkshire and up the A65 to the Lake District.
