ball joint & strut Question HELP!

Yes it does come as a single part and yes there are re-build kits on the market, type911 for example £50 a side. I think Hartec do refurbed ones. There are probably others for both options but thats all I can remember.

hello

help please

local mechanic has found wear in lower drivers wishbone ball joint and is being told by local part dealers that ball joint comes complete with wishbone at very steep price.

the ball joint appears to be integral to whole wishbone assembly and he did think a repair kit may have been available as he was able to strip it apart.

can you get ball joints separate for 86 944 turbos?

ALSO

front stut has play in main shaft when suspension is hung. can an insert be fitted to these?

was thinking of having the pair refreshed.

please help point me in right direction

cheers

Paul

Do a search for recent threads, this has been covered in depth. Basically, unless you really know what you're doing and buy the best kit don't do it yourself. Hartech's refurbed wishbones are probably the best option. Tell them where you got the recommendation, and ask for a Club discount. [:)]
