April Meeting - Talk by Bosch

Moderator
The April Meeting will be on Wednesday the 9th at 8 pm at the Deanwater Hotel, Woodford (as normal).

The invited speakers are from Bosch Automotive. It should be a good insight into engine management systems in our cars and maybe we can get a few tips from them about how to tweek our cars a bit [;)]

Who's coming along? [:)]

I hope to be there, Should be a good night.

Maybe I should bring my PST2 along if anyone what's to have a play later, read there fault codes etc.
We can ask them why there Coil Ign packs crack and fail!
Why the MAF sensors need cleaning all the time and cause DTC's to be logged on the Oxygen sensors instead of the MAF system.
Regards,
Chris.

You've had that too! Same here on the boxster - two new O2 sensors at considerable expense after being diagnosed as faulty only for the CEL to come back on which was then remedied by me taking out the MAF and cleaning it! []

Still....we'd best be not too hard on the Bosch guys on Wednesday [;)]

I'll see you there guys. Chris, with your knowledge, I think you could eat them alive :ROFLMAO:

Hi Stuart - I was ill, so unfortunately missed the evening. I would guess that Barry will put a few lines in Porsche Post.

Nick/I will circulate the monthly email shortly regarding the next meeting coming up in May.

Cheers,
Roddy

Hi Stuart - I meant I'm rather large in the height & width department!

Arghh the delights of email/forums eh? So many opportunities for confusion. Sorry if any caused!

Cheers,
Rod[:D]
