Anyone thinking of selling?

Hi all,
New to this forum, ignore the avatar, been a PCGB member for years don't know why I am listed as a non member.

Currently got a near concours 964C2 bone stock 68k miles and have decided that I don't want to butcher it for track work, hence I am thinking about an RS.

Prefer RHD (although may be convinced otherwise), reasonable budget available now, looking for the best car I can find (looked at 10 cars before I bought my current C2).

I am located in the north west UK although location is not a problem to come and see the right car,

Thanks in advance,
Kevin.

Know of a very nice LHD (as it should be) Black 964RS Lightweight circa £37K, (dealer offered little less allegedly so must be really good and right money) low klms, give me call.....also the yellow car on here in Cumbria, the other three that were up all sold now...other route call Paul MClean GT Classics..07976746158 good luck, the yellow car may be at Oulton tomorrow.....

Recommend you turn up at Oulton tomorrow even if it means taking a day off work / sick.
talk to me ( black 964RS N365JDM) about pros cons . John Liles

John,
Thanks - will do. Got an invite from Des to come along and watch the fun, I live in Chester so easy for me to get there, will seek you out during the course of the day,
Cheers,
Kevin

OPC Reading are advertising a red LHD RS. I'm sure someone here will know exactly which car it is.

GT Classics always have a selection, but also a long line of willing customers for the best cars.

The cupboard is bare.......

there appears to be a clean looking car on EBAY in France here... not the first place I'd look for an RS but...

Yes, and Vallauris is just up the road from me, very nice area so would suggest it might be well cared for... however it says visible in Dept 59 in the North (and it's registered there...) so touch confusing (but more conveniant for a UK purchaser...)
Caveat Emptor I guess, but if I hadn't bought one last week I think I'd be having the chat!

These cars are going bonkers.

DSCBoy....................Sure that's not you Des Sturdee Carrera Boy ?

Wish I was that clever....just looked at GT Classics site, about sums it all up....what is the rule in Australia for a LHD import Simon?

Not too long by the look of things. 997RS going down should meet the 64RS going up in about 2yrs.

Mind you it's now covered 19000 miles. Think I ought to put it away.[:)]

You are right....now is the time to use that 64 less...don't want to wear it out [:D]

In a few years time you may be able to sell both to buy a 993RS as they will undoubtedly be worth their weight in unobtainium [;)]

Isn't it incredible that people are so easily suckered by a fancy spoiler set. No doubt the 964RS would be worth double if it had been pimped to that extent.[;)]

Not allowed for road use but can be imported for track use only. They are very fussy about allowing inferior cars onto the roads here[;)][:D]

Must admit when I chose my moniker I didn't think there'd be anyone else reclaiming their youth with an overly optimistic usage of "boy"....
DSC = Dutch SuperCar Challenge... my usual haunt although sadly I'm contracted to a Nissan team at the moment (hiss)...
As promised in the RS/RSR chassis numbers post, I'll return with the full story (and pics) of the new beast as soon as I get my sticky paws on it (which hopefully will be next week) as I'm still pretty uncertain what it is I've bought ;-)

[FONT=arial"][FONT=verdana, geneva"][FONT=arial"]Having been actively in the RS market over the past couple of months, there do seem to be more buyers than sellers which is bound to boost the prices.
