Thought I would mention it because I know what an active bunch you lot in the 944 section are!.

Your always doing stuff which is what its all about.

Anyway just wondered if this was of any use to anyone.

944 Barn find

Regards.

Interesting, as it is a fairly early car, but its in pretty poor condition cosmetically, however the early cars often rust less in the sills!

Well,

Still its at £300 with 0 bids and only 9 hrs left, If I owned a 944 I would be setting a sniper to grab that in the last 6 seconds.

But then I guess judging by the response you must have loads of cheap spares.

I was thinking that myself. If the cills are in good order it could be an absolute steal as a sound base for a project. Regrettably, looking at the rust at the edges of the front wing I'm not convinced the cills would be that great.

I like the square dash and the individual gauges are much more open to be replaced with some nice STACKS shiny shiny. You would have to ditch the Madonna Breast glass any way. [:'(]

I'm sure one of our pro car breaker folk on the forums will buy it as they clearly snap up almost every cheepie going [:D] If it was down the road from me I might even have had it myself , I could do with another car I dont know what to do with [8|]

Ended. I am surprised no one wanted that for spares @£300 notes.

Now maybe someone can get it at £250.

Three years ago I was told that the going rate amongst the breakers was £400 for a lux in decent order, certainly a runner. A car that's sat for years must be worth substantially less. [&o]
