Anyone recognise this 993 Turbo S?

Having sold (and still miss the 996tt) I'm thinking about a 993 turbo and saw this:

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1072803.htm

Price is good - but too good to be true?

I'm guessing it's been blinged up internally (white faced dials and faux carbon under the handbrake lever and on dash -- OR is any of that part of the 'S' spec?

Appreciate any comments,
Thanks.

Interesting - thank you. Perhaps the ad is just out-of-date but I'll call to confirm. Instinctively I'm losing interest and will search elsewhere.

Cheers

The car has been for sale for about 6 months at a very low price, dont think the ad is out of date as the price has been reduced going rate would be +£10k, its an early one N Reg, but there is obviously something not right about it thats not mentioned in the advert whcih reads perfectly i.e. CAT C,D write off, S pack not factory fitted? is it an upgraded 993!!! it supposedly has full service record and is HPI clear.

If I was you, first give them a ring and then have a look at it if you dont live to far away, it will only help increase your knowledge, give it a drive and if nothing obviously wrong take it to Northways Porsche nr Reading for an inspection as they know the 993TT inside and out and should only cost about £110+v for the inspection and they will advise on cost of repairs and how long they can be left.

Might be worth an email on Piston heads as I'm sure they would have discussed this there by now

Thanks to all, especially Gordon, for your very helpful comments. I'll let you know if I take it any further but am increasingly wary about this car. Cheers.

Search on Pistonheads I believe there is a thread about this car if it is missing the roof gutters (it might be a different one but I suspect not).
