Anyone from Exeter?

New member
Alright guys
Just wandering if there is anyone that lives in or close to Exeter?
It looks like I will be moving to Exeter for 9 weeks from the 25th and would be nice to meet up with some other people in and around the area before I return back into the deep dark parts of Cornwall, maybe a mini meet or two if there are a few?
Cheers
Will

Where in Cornwall are you from? I am in Redruth/Helston area and would be up for a mini meet when you are back down.
Cheers

Kev

I'm not to far from you mate I am the outskirts of Redruth/Camborne basically living in Tehidy Woods. I leave on the 24th and will be coming home for the weekends though travelling back to Exeter every Sunday afternoon.

Shame mate as unfortunately Bristol is a little far to travel with not knowing what time I will be finishing each day and then its still a "hefty" round afternoon evening trip.

Not far away at all then mate, which is a nice surprise!
Your not selling a nice looking red 89 944 are you?

How about becoming a member then Will? Then you could join us for our monthly R15 meeting just outside Exeter and come on our "scenic[;)]" drive on the 21st April. Of course if you just want to pitch up at the meeting on 10th April you are most welcome. Naturally though I will inform you of the benefits of membership![:D]

No i did see there was one for sale in the area though, was going to go look at it a month or so ago...but ended up buying a Turbo instead [:D]

It is something I am planning on doing but at the minute my previous job wasn't overly well paid that my spare money was going into the car as a priority first. Moving to Exeter for 9weeks is for a training course for a new job which will give me some more expendable income of which membership shall be done [:D]

Can you message me some details for the 10th though please!

Sweet I have a 944 to look out for down here, as don't know where the one that used to be in Conner Downs has gone. What colour is yous? So I can keep an eye out for you.
Definitely be good for a meet up though, possibly do the 29th or 30th this month if your free and the weather is nice?

Mine is zermatt silver, also know as champagne silver i believe. It's got a 944 plate aswell.

Yer IF the weather is good, bloody rubbish atm! []

Sweet well if I spot you about ill give you a wave!
Isn't it man, with what the weather has done to our garden I think I might start growing rice, or offering it up as a boating lake [:(]
I'll pm you my number in a bit if you like? So can sort something out if the weather looks like its going to play ball.
