Any classic Ford enthusiasts on here? - Bargain project on e-bay

I was thinking about getting an easy summer project car. This looks perfect. I hope no one from here bids against me...

Just the sort of project to get your teeth into, would love to do something like this just not sure on the shade of blue, it would be a shame to change the colour on such a classic.

I thought when Basil Fawlty, Del & Rodney, Rowan Atkinson & Baldrick, and the 2 Ronnies had packed up, we had no Comedians left, but - not so, there are still some out there and they make my day. The Q&A to go with it...[:D][:D][:D][:D][:D]

Thanks Paul

Sorry to be all boring and difficult, but surely that is being sold as a kit to 'ring' another car? You have a log book and an identity. Therefore all an unscrupulous person needs to to is nick a similar model, swap the identities, and away you go.

To be honest, that was my first thought too.

It's a surprisingly common issue. I recently came across a white Audi S4 cabriolet. It looked quite nice from a distance, but there were several things that were a bit odd. First the grill was a standard A4 one, but hand painted matt black. The interior seemed far too worn for the mileage. And best of all, it had a 1.8 litre engine. The VIN plate was for a silver (?) A4 cab that was apparently written off a while ago. Try to figure that one out if you can.
