anti-roll bar not centralised - why ?

I have been busy sorting my ABS new pieces of loom , sorting chassis wheel earths etc and I noticed the front ARB is not centralised ( more to n/s ) and looks as though it has been like this for sometime.I rebushed with poly bushes and fitted SAR additional supports about 18mths ago.There are no stop plates ,as some ARB''s have , so maybe designed to settle not centralised.
Any thoughts would be welcome.
