Another 944 hits the market (nice cheap Turbo)

A change of jobs means that I need a commuter car and given I am now self-employed I can't entertain the luxury of 3 cars in the household so I have just stuck my '87 944 Turbo in the Classifieds. As Mas before me (the previous owner, of these parts), I can't face asking for loads of money and waiting for months for the right owner, plus there are some things that could do with sorting on the car so I am asking for £4k. It cost me a couple of hundred less than that 1 year ago but I am hoping the £2,500 I have spent on the car justifies the increase. I am, of course, open to offers though!

Ah thats sad news [&:] Having seen it in the metal during Mas's ownership its a nice car and after all that money spent on her in the interim £4k looks a very good price to me. Good luck with the sale.

I'm sad and it's not even my car [:(] , your ad is very honest and in my opinion doesn't truly reflect what a solid punchy car she is. Not many D reg 944's have sills as straight as those for starters. I hope she stays with a club enthusiast. I'm kind of missing Porsche a bit now if I'm honest so given a year or so maybe I'll get another one. I have E-Mailed you re one additional bit of history/work. Mas

Thanks Mas. And I just remembered about the ignition leads, distributor cap and rotor arm that I replaced and need to add to the list.

I've added a few photos to the advert and a load on to Flikr: [link=http://www.flickr.com/photos/40864904@N05/]HERE[/link]
