Android auto and rear parking camera upgrade

Hello!

I'm considering upgrading my current 981 Boxster 2016 3.1 PCM to provide Android Auto and maybe a rear parking camera.

Can anyone recommend a supplier/fitter please? I live near Sheffield.

I've recently bought and installed an Erisin ES8599C unit to replace the very basic CDR31 that came with the car. The unit was £200 and I bought a DAB connection and rear camera for another £20 +£20. Haven't installed the DAB antenna yet as I'll need to remove the A pillar trim and I'm not yet 100% certain how to do that. I'll get my porsche specialist to install the rear camera soon when the car is in for a service. You get Android Auto wireless connection easily or you can get a sim card and let the unit run without the phone being connected. There a couple of canbus quirks I've noticed though. The gear shift indicator ( i have a manual) doesnt work now, but that's not a problem😄. I think my interior lights aren't working either but minor considering I get an inbuilt unit for very little cost. If anyone else out there has installed this unit I'd be interested to hear of more tips and tricks.
