Andersen A2 Charge Point

So it looks like a finger pointing exercise hence trying to establish if anyone else has succeeded with an Andersen A2 as this is promoted with that feature too.
No, the Chargemaster one is pretty dumb, with no timers and the web Dashboard (where you can see the results of your charge cycles) as of Dec 2019 no longer works, as our need is basic charge both of our cars and I kinda like the frills free usage I have no need to swap it out. If / when it fails I will get it swapped to another dumb unit and that Anderson unit does look superb [
Sadly I believe MyEnergi will probably be right re an incomplete implementation, I have never used Departure timing as I'm retired and no longer leave home at a fixed time every day and could never get it to work on my 2017 Cayenne S e-hybrid, as such I never got into a habit of using it and we are not on a dual tariff at home.
Perhaps an email to Anderson and ask if they have an install in your area you could try the car ?
I considered the Andersen A2 and it does look superb aesthetically but when I started looking a bit further beyond the marketing hype on their web site I didn’t get a good feeling about post sales technical support. So hence Zappi as it also the only other charge point that does not require an earth rod, it was also available ex stock from a wholesaler. (My Turban S doesn’t qualify for the OLEV grants so I just used an qualified electrician to install it who had already done some work for me.)
Myenergi have been brilliant in terms of availability of telephone and email technical support, there is also a very active forum with technical advice etc. Unfortunately I’ve exhausted all of that and it does look like Porsch have not fully implemented the charging standards. However I thought I would call Andersen but got nowhere and it confirmed my original thoughts, they operate from an office in London unlike myenergi who although despite also being a start up have a fully staffed facility over in Binbrook. They offered for me to go over so they could do some tests on my car, it’s a bit far but I may do that.
