Aluminium rear trailing arms '86 924S

Has anyone tried changing the rear wheel bearings on this type of rear unit. I have stripped the rear units only to find the hub assembly very confusing and still attached to the arm , and an american website stating a specialist tool need to remove them, website below, (www.tech-session.com/kb/index.php?article=45)
Can anyone shed some light on this.

Can you post some pics, I'm not that familiar with the WB setup on an S, IIRC the rear brakes are the same as the front brakes of a standard 2.0 ltr model, so the bearing should be in the disc
