Alternative rear brake shoes

Chaps,

A quickie.

I need some new rear brake shoes for my S2. The 'Alternative Parts Fitment' thread lists E28 BMW handbrake shoes as being identical (although with different springs) and they are 2/3 of the price of 944 ones, so I ordered a set. However, when they turned up, they aren't right - they look like this;

Sending them back isn't an issue, but the question is whether the E28 BMW had different handbrake shoes on different models. An online search has proved inconclusive, with both the type that I have and what appears to be the right type both appearing. Does anyone have any more information on precisely what I need to order?
