I have the hereford and worcs region coming to my place on the 5th march,to look around the cars, talk about racing etc. Also the 993 reg may well be coming at some point also.Any body is welcome on the 5th march, just let me know if you want to come along.
Just a idea at the moment,is there any interest in say a bi annual all things lightweight workshops.
Where like minded people can talk about, set ups, tires, engines, show differant chassis mods, explain and show examples of seem welding, differances between all the cars, 993rs,gt2, etc
Creat a better understanding of your car and others.
Thinking of early pre 73 lightweight cars,964rs,993rs,993gt2,993cup,964cup etc
We have plenty of experts on hand to call on,a vehicle lift etc.
Also a great reason to get together a couple of times a year, bbq, beer etc
I am sure we can get some funding for this sort of thing out of the club!

Sounds my type of event. If I am not driving, there is nothing better than discussing the technical side of things over a BBQ, beer and the smell of a garage. Heaven[:D]

Sounds a great idea Paul -regret can't do the 5th, but up for anything in the future subject to dates.

we can arrange for a time to suit most who would like to come,i suspect the first one will not be many, preferably out of the race season.
Plenty of room for campers & motorhomes, 50 beds in our barn for any one who wishes to stop over etc.

I would be interested in the idea of a workshop Paul. It's bloomin miles from me though! I would have to stay over. Would make beers easier mind.

Yes Paul.....where when........ if not 5th got my boys that weekend.......if you also want a friendly Summer venue maybe tied in with a Brands Track Day, I live about twenty minutes away from Brands room on drive for about 20 cars plus bbq plus Porsche Bar plus pool and some accommodation and good b&b round the corner live BR1....or whatever.......

Paul,
Sounds like a great idea, I will be in and out of the country a fair bit this year, but would definitely be interested if the dates work for me.
