Alarm - OE Porsche or what?

Hi chaps,

A bog standard Cayman 2.9 doesn't come with an alarm according to the sales blurb, and the salesman at our OPC hasn't tried to sell me one. I'll ask him when I speaak to him next, but do people just stick with the standard immobiliser? I'm guessing that fitting a third-party alarm might cause warranty issues.
 
The sales blurb is for multiple countries. I understand all new Porsche cars come with an alarm/imobiliser system that is Thatcham approved. (It's part of the C16 UK Spec).
