I am sure there was thread on this but i cannot find it after searching with various search words what do people get on boost AFR reading wise ?
I have 11.6 ish on 18 psi boost, green LED indicating, presuming this is okay ?
Light throttle 14.5 ish which i know is Okay as 14.7 is thge ideal figure, obviously i need to know what is safe when on boost.
Cheers Jim.

11.5 to 11.9 is considered perfect for that sort of boost. I was seeing around 10.5 at 18 psi. Hence the reason my engine is now in bits lol!

You're right 14.7 is the theoretical "stoichiometric" mixture, every molecule of petrol is fully burned with no excess oxygen left over.

However catalytic converters need a slightly richer mixture (at least that's what they taught me back in 1991) to prevent them being damaged. So i would imagine that 14.5 is as intended for your car.

Cheers Peeps,
Rob was borewash due to running rich the cause of your problems ?
Thanks for the replies lads, piece of mind for me when pressing on [:D] i basically have it as i want it now, a motorsport fuel pump is next on the wishlist followed by 55lb injectors, Niels off this forum was supposed to be giving me an idea of the price he wants for some that he has but has appeared to gone to ground ?
The AFR gauge is an Innovate Motorsport unit, which has loads of features, i suspect it is the same as the AEM unit with a different name, though it does have a status LED unlike the AEM
