adjustable FPR for S2 ?

I am going to replace the FPR because a couple of times recently when starting from hot having stood for a few minutes it has run very lumpy , cutting out at idle and very rich ( sooty plugs ) so I suspect FPR is sticking.Is it worthwhile fitting an adjustable FPR or just go for standard ?

Hi Nick, don't want to hijack your thread but this may help me.

We race our "stock" 944 in the CSCC series, it's a 40 min race with driver change around 20 min in. during the driver change the engine must be switched off.

So it comes into the pits steaming hot, switched off for 30 seconds and then re-started....if we are lucky. We have problems with the re-start and have bumped it down the pit lane before now.

So is there something I could do to make that easier? we have taken to switching the the electrics back on immediately in case of fuel evaporation, but any further suggestions would be useful.

What FPR are you proposing?
