ABS Problem

First time ever. Drove out to a show all ok, it was a very hot day. Got in to drive home, ABS warning fault. At same time speedo inoperative. At home checked ABS system fuse, which was ok. Checked relay, which had no reistance, purchased new relay, still same problem. (DVM, made in China, now in bin) I then found another fuse, for ABS relay, this was blown, replaced that and all was fine.
Then drove 200 ish mls, all ok. Same happened yesterday, ver hot day. Got in to drive home, faulted again. Stopped immediately, and changed relay fuse, which blew straight away.
Today, checked output voltage of wheel sensors, and all showed good. Replaced fuse again, and in cool garage all seems ok.
I have a set of official workshop manuals for 968. And the wiring diagram for the, ABS shows no reference to speedo, being part of the circuit.
Any one any ideas?
